out of all the Manhattan Bagels, this one is by far the worst. sandwich hardly had any seeds on the bagel; didn't come with onions, which were requested; and overall sandwich was poorly made (tons of lettuce, which is unnecessary, could hardly eat without it falling apart and making a HUGE mess). manager was jumping around banging the chairs around; wouldn't accept another customer's coupon (said they were the "only store that didn't participate in the coupon"). when another customer wished the manager a happy holiday (it's dec 24th) he only replied "Hanukkah is over" - I was appalled! terrible customer service

I stopped by on my way to work this Monday morning at around 10:30am to grab a cup of coffee and breakfast. The guys at the register were really friendly and upbeat, but the area was in disarray. There is not much space for them within a supermarket (Superfresh), but they accommodated with a few tables and a counter of various coffee blends (Arabica beans) and a cappuchino machine. The Hazelnut coffee that I had was satisfying, and my favorite part of the breakfast sandwich was the chewy whole wheat bagel :-). I got the breakfast special: classic breakfast sandwich (meat, cheese, and egg) and 16 oz. coffee. Any kind of meat: Bacon, pork, Turkey sausage, pork sausage... I will try going again, but at an earlier time since they serve lunch too...at the time I was there, they were probably getting ready for lunch.

They have some great specials, and you can get a breakfast sandwich and coffee for ~$4.50. I decided on a toasted cheddar bagel with egg, turkey bacon, and cheese, which was decent although the interior was a bit dense, and a hazelnut coffee. The coffee was okay but not as good as Panera's or Wawa's, at least with regards to the hazelnut flavor, but it was hot and fresh, and that's all that really counts on a Monday morning. My favorite part about the breakfast sandwiches here is the fresh-cracked egg, which is countless times better than an egg "patty." The turkey bacon was lean yet crispy too, which gave the sandwich a nice crunch and flavor boost; I also appreciated that it was a semi-healthy alternnative to the not-exactly-high-cholesterol-friendly sausage and pork roll options. It wasn't busy at 6:30 this morning so I got my food very quickly. I've noticed that, lately, the service has improved, which makes me happy because it gives me a nice option for breakfast that is literally minutes away from home. While they don't have the special bagels, like the powerbagel, pistachio, and super cinnamon, they do have the signature varieties, including potato (try it toasted with a smear of butter) and chocolate chip (kinda meh).

They start shutting down the place at 1 o'clock when they close at 2 o'clock. What's the point of staying open till 2 then? If I want a hot sandwich at 1:45, I should be able to get one. Being lazy is ineffective with a customer Service industry. This is the second time I have went between 1 -2 and couldn't get my meal. Congrats, you've lost a customer.
